Note me
I bought so many books the other day, felt like spoiling myself. All came from the language and linguistic second of the local second hand book shop in town. The coolest one is A Guide to Old English. Real useful language nowadays, innit? Eh, still, it's really interesting. I also got An Analysis on Chinese Characters. That one's very interesting as well.
idk, I really like linguistics. I read a lot but I only ever read non-fiction. I'm really picky about the fiction I do read, so critical of it. x'D My favorite fiction genre is fantasy but like I said, I'm really critical and a good amount of fantasy novels are cliche'd to hell and back or just silly and it's hard to enjoy them.
I saw this really strange guy in the bookstore though. Usually no ever comes to the linguistic section so I have it all to myself, then this guy wrapped in a toga of felt blankets, wearing a turban made of blanket with his mouth covered up, who smelled reaaally bad and was filthy, came over. He spoke really strangely, I didn't know if something was wrong with him or if he was just odd. He was nice though at least, said "God bless you, I love you," to everyone he passed.
Hm.
What kinda books do you guys like to read?
I like to read fantasy too but it has to be really good. I agree, it's hard to find good ones. I like historical fantasy too, but I hardly ever find books of that genre!
sounds like a cliche but Stephen King really is one of my favorites
I also loooveeee graphic novels
