I'm sure many of you have seen a bunch of those doll bases around DA. You know, a pixel anime person, no hair, no clothes, completely customizable for the maker save for the pose and eyes. And I don't have a problem with them and people using if YOU make them, as in, you make the base using one of your OWN works. Not some anime picture you got off a search engine!

That's tracing, and that makes me pretty mad to see this on DA. Now like I said, I don't mind if it's made from the artist and other people use it-that can be fun and it's perfectly legal. But really, how is this allowed on Deviantart? It's tracing, straight up! Art theft! Even giving a link back to the original picture isn't enough, you need permission for it to be okay!
